09 April 2012 I have taken TAN No. but not file any TDS return

I have a company and Raw Material comes with Freight/Carting which we are paying every month but not deducted TDS bcz of IT dept. tds rules

so do i need to file etds return with all party PANs

how much i have time for it, do i need to pay any penalty

09 April 2012 No penalty just file the return as soon as possible and before 1st July. After 1st july 2012 Rs 200 penalty for each day will come into force.

any payment entry of transporter payment has to entered in tds return

or just blank return nil return

09 April 2012 Details of transporter are to be given..

Payment made to the transporter having PAN.

But TDS amount (Both deduction and Payment) will be Nil.

09 April 2012 ITS IS SUFFICIENT FOR LAST QTR ONLY OR IT IS COMPULSORY TO FILE ALL FOUR QUARTERS

09 April 2012 Must be filed for all quarters where any payment to transporter is made.

10 April 2012 Do I need to file from 2010-2011 or its sufficient to file only 2011-2012
