16 August 2010 Good Morning Every One
Respected Sir/Madam Please Help me in solving below query.

TDS Challan with cheque entered in bankbox for clearing as on 5th jan 2010.
But
Challan is stamped by bank as 10 jan 2010

Is this late payment of TDS please clarify.

16 August 2010 Please check the Challan tender date, if the tender date 5th Jan 2010, then no late payment, the tender date also 10th Jan then late payment only

17 August 2010 please see the bank seal in the challan, you came to know, if not there is any proof is there for the cheque deposited on 5th the same can be used as proof, otherwise late payment
