Please advise whether TDS is applicable purchase of Symantec Antivirus. If yes, under which section

The software is a off the self software and is treated as goods.
This being a transaction in the nature of purchase/sale, TDS not attracted in my view.

TDS is applicable only on contract for service & not on contract for sale. Purchase of anti virus being a contrcat for sale, TDS will not be applicable.
