Dear sir
As per the query earlier answered the supply of lunch and tea is chargeable to TDS.
Does it means that sale of food of which billing is done on monthely basis is subject to TDS.How such purchase of food is different from purchase of stationary and raw material.

Purchase of Raw Material is trading purchases while stationery purchase on contract basis is also liable for TDS.

On the question of TDS one should test the transaction on the ground whether it is service or sales.And on the basis of that if it is service only then TDS liability is there.

I am searching the original question. I have doubt whether sale or supply of food stuffs will attract TDS under I.T. Act.
