We have rented a flat in which agreement its mentioned that 15K will be towards Flat rent & 15K towards Rent of Furniture & Fixture.Total we pay 30K in 2 cheques as monthly rent in name of one person.

Is it liable for TDS

in my view tds on rent applicable from person to person...
so though its two different things.. but both falls under same section so tds will be deducted on 30k
