Tds on freight

12 October 2012 we are a IATA approved Logistics company . The problem we are facing with Airline payment . When the airlines sending us payment CSR they are providing us commission due agent and Discount . They are deducting the commission and discount from total freight amount on csr and adding a 10% TDS on that amount . they are collecting freight amount -commission -discount + TDS from us . but we are not getting any cheque or payment from them in real money as discount /commission. Besides that we are showing this commission+discount as a income and paying income tax on it also .therefore we are losing on both side. we are paying TDS as well as income tax but it is not a real income for us .

What is the soulation ??

12 October 2012 You need to ask for the explanation from the concerned. What you have stated is clearly not the intention of TDS. TDS be done on your commission, that is understandable. Commission and TDS should be opposite to each other. Please seek the explanation form the concerned. Do not loose on both the counts.
