TDS on Electricity Charges

09 May 2011 In my office taken rental premises in Tidel Park Chennai, Normally they claim Electricity charges based on the average rate derived from Actual EB Charges + Diesel Charges cost..

From this month onwards they are claiming service tax on the EB charges.

As per article of the agreement “Lessee will pay all sums due and payable as usage charges for consumption of electricity for use of
air-conditioning, lighting, computers, etc. on actual basis to Lessor or designated agencies and/or the service providers directly."

Can you please help me out in this regard and also let me know which section I have to deduct TDS on the same.
