23 February 2010 Sir/Madam,

My self Patil I am working as a finance manager in Hospital

Pune Muncilpe Corporation has given contract to Pasio Company for collecting wastage from hospitals

we are paying amount to Pasio Company without deducting TDS

I want know can deduct TDS from payment of Pasio Company. It will attrack TDS on contract @ 2%?

23 February 2010 My view, TDS applicable in your case the deductee as company unless they are having specfic exemption

I want know also if Pune Munciple corporation to collect waste.

We are paying them on monthly basis
then Can We deduct TDS on Contract @ 2%?
