Can a company deduct TDS on maintenance charges paid to a co-operative housing society?

Yes..TDS will be deducted u/s @2% on maintenance charges charged by soceity.
There is no exemption from TDS on payment to soceity for maintenance charges.
Co-operative soceity is a legal entity and assessed separately.
