Dear Experts,
Kindly let me know if tax has to be deducted at source on payments made to bureau of indian standards in the form of marking fees (service tax is collected on such fees by BIS),if yes under which section.

TDS to be deducted u/s 194J. Subject to threshold limit of Rs.20000/- p.a. (Limit increased to Rs.30000/- from 01.07.2010) on amount inclusive of service tax.
