Filed itr 1 fully reconciled senior citizen with a refund of 27000 - taxable income ten lacs filed on 23 june . Still not processed. Any idea??

Processing delays during July are normal due to heavy CPC server load. As long as the ITR is verified, AIS data matches, and the bank account is pre-validated for refund, processing under Section 143(1) will usually complete automatically within 2 to 6 weeks. No immediate intervention is needed unless a pending notice appears on the portal.
