Is TDS applicable on printing of books, even if VAT is charged on printing ??

Yes TDS is applicable on printing of books. VAT is applicable on works contract.

We haven't provided any material to Vendor like papers etc. for printing. All material and machines are his own..

In case printing of books is as per your specification and order it is works contract.
