Any payment to our customers (buying of goods and selling in open market) in the form of gift vouchers(which can be used to swipe and buy articles in specified outlets)whether entitles TDS deduction.

19 March 2014 there is no q of tds as there is sale and purchase of goods.

can you please rethink,
since i have a little doubt.....
"since we are paying to our customer a separate amount in the form of a gift voucher which is like a extra payment (which can be called as a commission) to them.......... this is over and above business dealings of purchase and sale of goods.

20 March 2014 even after rethinking my ans will not change as there is no provision in law for bringing such transaction within 4 walls of tds applicability.
