DO REIMBURSEMENT EXPENSES PAID TO CLEARING AND FORWARDING AGENT ATTRACT PROVISIONS OF TDS.

If the C&F agent submits separate bill for the reimbursement expenses then TDS is not applicable on such payment.

The status of the agent is NOT important. What is to be seen is the nature of the expense.
Since the payment is for reimbursement of expenses, TDS provisions are NOT attracted.
