If an employee works for 8 months, for income tax can he claim Rs.15000/- or proportionate amount?

yes its medical reimbursement. Also i would like to know if open heart surgery is elligible for deduction u/s 80DDB?

He can claim proportionate amount only .for section 80DDB claim please refer rule 11DD
