27 November 2009 dear friends

Can we claim TDS Recoverable in current year pertaining to last year's TDS if TDS certificates are received in the current year.

27 November 2009 No, it cannot possible to claim the TDS in current year. You dont need to submit TDS certificate at the time of submitting income tax returns. so claim all the TDS in your ITR even you dont have TDS certificates.

27 November 2009 Yes, if TDS remains unclaimed due to any reason, it can be claimed in the current year. u will have to show that the same has not been claimed by u in the last year.
