Dear sirs can anyone tell the difference between works contract TDS and income tax TDS in detail. Because I'm confused with these two.

Works contract VAT TDS at 5% can be adjusted against VAT payable. Income tax TDS on works contract applicable at at 1%/2% to be adjusted against income tax payment.
