Tds

This query is : Resolved

10 April 2015 If company or Firm have deducted TDS @ 20% of a person (in case of without PAN), then how the person can claim the credit of TDS deducted?

10 April 2015 He can not. It is his duty to disclose his PAN to the deductor at the time of submitting bill or on receipt of the value for his services, whichever is earlier.

However, the deductor may revise the return and give the PAN of the deductee. So, then the deductee could avail the credit.

However, I have not done it practically. You may try it.
