My client has a liaison office and he is willing to close it for which a tax clearence certificate is needed and in order to obtain that the taxes are to be paid.
The Traces website is showing that the company has to pay 72000 as short deduction of TDS. He has paid the dues but the amount paid by him is not being reflceted in 26AS.
How to check that the payment was correctly made?

Tax reflecting in form 26AS is your tax such as TDS deducted from your income. and the amount payable reflected inthe TRACES is the TDS amount payable by you such as you have deducted from your payees, so check the same and clear.
