How is salary tds actually calculated?
Please explain with example.

Salary structure is known to HR. Accordingly the would be salary for the year is calculated. The legitimate deductions are taken into account e.g.pf, lip, ppf etc. (Some companies take declarations from employees about these deductions at the beginning of the year and ask them to produce the proof of payment in due course)
