I bought a property and was supposed to deposit TDS of Rs. 27,000 but have by mistake deposited 2,70,000 i.e. an excess of 2.5 lacs of rupees. HOW can this excess money be refunded.
The seller is unwilling to adjust the excess amount so deposited from the final sale consideration as he was already having a cash crunch
