30 September 2014 if i deduct
child education allowance
hostel allowance
then by what amount should i deduct it ?
do i need to give supportive proof for child education allowance, hostel allowance??
fr. exp. as rent agreement if you are deducting HRA

Child edu. allowances Rs. 100 per child max. Rs. 200 per month.

For hostel allowance it is Rs. 200 p.m.

Yes employee declaration of no. of child/children admitted in hostel is needed.

30 September 2014 cant i deduct mobile allowance, petrol allowance, to reduce basic salary ? to avoide the tds on salary?

30 September 2014 There is no such allowances exempt under Income Tax, however you can pay it as Reimbursements.

For this employees will be required to submit Mobile bills & petrol bills.
