Error whilst validation

21 July 2025 Sir,
Whilst validating ITR 2 error appears and states....
"Please select an Nature of Exempt Allowances option from the drop down at B3. of Schedule Salary."

This is so even though Salary Schedule has not even been selected.

Kindly advise!

21 July 2025 It is glitch in the software. Click on the error.... It will direct to the salary page & the column.... Add "0" as value, save the page... ... The ITR will get validated.

22 July 2025 Sir Thank You Sir! Selected "Any other" Description as None and Value Zero. It's validated! However Now Salary Schedule appears. Now 80C and 80D not getting activated.

22 July 2025 To activate these deductions you are supposed to file ITR under old regime. So go to General Schedule for selection of Old regime, if you wish to file under old regime.
