ERRROR IN ITR2 FILING

THERE IS LOSS IN SHORT TERM on sale of securities. so i am filing in itr2. but, while entering figures in SHORT TERM CAPITAL GAIN/LOSS tile, it's not accepting the LOSS amt.

it pops up a error" balance should not be less than 0:"

how the loss should be booked

pls guide

23 July 2025 ok fine. but usually, a grievance is filed only for refund issues, or some complicated issues,
can we file a grievance for this portal software technical issues.?
since losses are not booked here, in itr2, it won't be reflected in BFLA column of itr2 of the forthcoming years

23 July 2025 Yes, Grievance can be filed here, as without its resolution you cannot file ITR.
