Why we deduct 10% Tds of the salary and what is the condition when we have to calculate taxable income and then divided by 12 to calculate Tds.

TDS on salary is not deducted @10% but it is calculated and deducted as per the Slab of the employee.

That is what i am saying.. TDS is not deducted @10%. it is deducted as per the average rate of tax applicable to eployee
