Tax period wrong quoted in gvat challan

Friends,
One of our client had made VAT Payment but through oversite the tax period i.e. month wrongly quoted in VAT Challan.
If anybody have strong rectification of this type error than pl give your esteemed feedback here.

write a letter to vat officer to correct this challan. no other option.
