tax liability on material management

01 December 2010 our job as sub-contractor in power sector for material handling for Erection, testing and Commsioning agency.
Our scope cover as Reciept , unloading, verification and issue of material recived by Erection agency in their store yard.

My query is whether we sub-contractor attract sevice tax liability.

Please help as we are very confused , earlier agery was giving service tax bu after some period he say this service is not taxable.
