Tax calculation in invoice for work contract

12 May 2014 I am a maintenance contractor. How can i make my invoice to customer ? Suppose my contract is of amount 50000 ( 30000 material + 20000 labour ) then can i calculate vat as below : 30000*15% = 4500. Total billing amount is 54500 /= ( i have not service tax)....then right ??
