Tax benefits on Home loan

13 June 2011 I am an NRI and have purchased a property in India with loan from HDFC, am I eligible to claim benefits on the interest paid for the home loan, are there any tax benefits I could claim wrt the home loan, also have taken some home protection insurance policies.
