21 July 2008 No, it should not be considered as a professional service as the organisation is not providing a service which involves purely intellectual skill or is into operations which involve intellectual skill. Para 4.3 of the Guidance Note on Audit under section 44AB has explained the professional in terms of intellectual skill used in the provision of services.
