hi,i am vinay garg ca final student i dont no whether t.d.s is deduted on fright or not if yes on which rete and what is the limit of fright on which t.d.s will deduct.

if the bill amount of rs. not exceeing 20000/- and the total bill of freight from that company is not exceeding 50000/- then no need to deduct the TDS otherwise TDS will be deducted @ 2% + surchar(if applicable)+ 3% e.cess .
