22 July 2015 If a person holds 2 DINs & wishes to surrender the DIN that he has never used. Can a Company, in which he is a Director using the other DIN, file RD-1 for surrender of the DIN of its Director that he has never used to hold any directorship.

Affidavit Amount? will submission of physical copy of DIR-5 with RD require submission of any fees?

22 July 2015 1. The company using other DIN can e-file form RD-1.

2. Stamp paper for affidavit is as per stamp act of the state in which the registered office of the company is situated.

3. DIR-5 is an attachment to form RD-1.

4. Filing fee is as per the table to the instructions of form RD-1.

14 August 2015 Sir,

As per my conversation with MCA helpdesk, MCA has not come up with any e-form that could unable a person surrender his DIN through which he has not been appointed at any place and we need to wait uptill MCA issues any circular or required form in this regard.

Further, I was asked to drop a letter stating that I am a bonafide person and inadvertently hold two Director Identification Numbers and desire to surrender the one of them through which I am not a director at any other place.
