15 July 2013 Dear sir, As per Pondicherry VAT / CST act. the following documents may be required and other documents also may required as per other state act and rules
LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMIITED FOR NEW REGISTRATION
UNDER PUDUCHERRY VAT ACT.

1 Partner ship Deed ( Attested copy) / Memorandum Articles (Attested)
2 Rent Deed ( Attested copy)
3 Recent passport size photos for each partner / Directors
4 Ration card Xerox and attested for each partner / Directors
5 Voter Id Xerox and attested for each partner / Directors
6 Passport if any Xerox and attested for each partner / Directors
7 PAN card Xerox for each partner / Director
8 PAN card in favour of business name Xerox attested
9 Recent elec. Bill copy of rented premises which should
be in the name of house owner as per rent deed
10 List of items to be purchased and sold (Trading)
11 If you are trader and select a category from
Wholesaler / Retailer / Distributor / others.
12 Provide the contact person, Phone no. Fax and email etc.
13 If we are going to register as branch then pl. send Head office
14 TIN and CST registration certificate copies.
15 Bank A/c. Pass book copy of each partner and Firm
16 Demand Draft in favour of "Commercial Tax Officer, Puducherry" for Rs. As applicable
17 Annual Estimated Turnover under Form- I
18 Form - E ( Manager authorisation ) along with photo
19 Driving License attested copy of each Director
20 Board Resolution
21 Undertaking in 20 Rs. Stamp paper for remaining Regn. Pending with
other departments
22 Company for seal and address seal
23 Court Fess Stamp cost Rs. 25/- for CST regn. Fees
