01 January 2016 in case vat audit is not applicable in gujarat...is there need of any other compliances...i.e. annual return or sth like that.

02 January 2016 Vat Audit is mandatory in Gujarat if the total taxable turnover of the assessee exceeds Rs. 1 crore.
Moreover, depending on the nature of business, tax amount and date of registration, the assessee has to file monthly/quarterly returns alongwith annual returns.
