Submission of ITR V for A.Y.08-09

30 March 2010 pls guide me on the following

I have efiled ITR4 for A.Y.08-09 without digital signature, do I have to submite the ITR V to Banglore or should I submit it in the concerned IT department at Mumbai.
If it is to be submited in Mumbai then with in howmany days?

30 March 2010 1) ITR V should be submitted to the jurisdictional IT office,not to Bangalore.

2) The time limit is 15 days from the electronic transmission of return. Please refer CBDT Circular no. 5/2007 dated 26/07/2007.

30 March 2010 I'm not agree with Warrierji,

all itr without digital signature require to submit to Banglore office within 30days, for more clarification check below linke

1. I may request you to go through the head line of the CBDT Circular no. 03/2009 dated 21/05/2009 with particular emphasis to the head line which is reproduced below:-

Subject - New return forms for the assessment year 2009-10 -- matters connected thereto- regarding.

Please come out with a reply after referring the above.

2. The time limit to send ITR V to Bangalore has been now extended to 120 days. For more details please read in https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do
