Hello Sir,
Please Clarify....
Whether SSI Exemption is available for goods transport agency service ( Those who are paying under reverse charge method ie for inward freight charges by a service receiver)
Whether SSI exemption available for GTA ( service receiver from paying service tax( not being 750 or 1500) .or paying of service tax by service receiver is mandatory...?

Under reverse charge mechanism there i no exemption limit for the service provider, not only for GTA but also 9 other services as per the new provision to be implemented from 1st July 2012. But, the service provider can avail the abatement of 75% if the freight amount exceeds Rs.750/-.
