i have made an investment in shares out of pocket money received from my father.i earned short term capital gain on it .wat is the proof i can give to income tax authorities regarding source of investments since i have made investment out of pocket money .

Hi,
1. You can submit the confirmation letter from your father that so much pocket money is given to you. Give the details of expenses incurred by you and savings out of this pocket money.
2. Even if the ITO is not satisfied then you can file your affidavit regarding investment out of pocket money.
