IF TDS DEDUCTED ON WORKS CONTRACT UNDER VAT THEN SERVICE TAX IS APPLICABLE OR NOT PLEASE ADVISE

For execution of Works contract both material and service are required. Material portion Vat is levied and for service portion service tax is payable.
Service tax applicable on works contract but not on full value abatement available.
