i have taken contract for original work. this contract falls in under reserve charges. will i have to charge 50% service tax in the bill.

02 April 2015 Yes, if you fall under reverse charge mechanism, you have to charge 50% service tax in the bill.

my turnover is below the 50 lacs. hence i want to deposited ST on receipt basis, as per point of taxation rule. suppose i have issue the invoice on 10/4/2015, and payment has receipt on 15/8/2015, i means before the six month of issuing the invoice. in this case receipt date is to be consider for point of taxation hence ST payment due date will be 6/9/2015. please let me know is this correct or not..
