please resolve this query .telephone bills amount including service tax .company paid the bill amount.company wants to pass the entry for service tax receiveble . is it right? please reply for this..

YES. YOU CAN TAKE SERVICE TAX INPUT ON LANDLINE TELEPHONES ONLY.

yes, you can take service tax credit on landline telephone as well as mobile phone if it is directly or indirectly related to business activities.

my question is to Mr Bansal, if the telephone/mobile is used by the company but (1) in the bill for communication is written that of employee's residence address,
(2) the bill is in the name of the employee or directors but not in the name of the company.
Whether service tax credit is available in above two cases.
