06 December 2012 good morning sir,
please help me about service tax adjustment as we do adjustment in sale tax. we give service tax in freight inward and receive service tax from job work . sir my service tax on freight inward is above than service tax on job work. than sir can i adjust service tax( on job work) from service tax on freight inward.thanks in advance

09 December 2012 I understand that you will be paying service Tax on Freight under Reverse charge, if it is so, then service tax on freight first be paid in cash/Bank then it can be claimed as set of f against service tax payable provided ser tax on freight is eligible as input service in your case
