23 February 2011 how to make amendement in st-1 online pls give particlar site and link

23 February 2011 Pl visit www.aces.gov.in.
Create used id and password under new user category, if not taken so far.
Log in to the site.
Select form ST-I and proceed.

24 February 2011 sir i did it and fill the st-1 form but thereafter there is message that system adminstrator did not accept ur apllication i think amendement is st-1 is not done in this way however new aplication can be done throgh this way and there is no option for amendment in online st-1 form

25 February 2011 Then u may do the following:-
1) Apply for user id and password to the concerned superintendent of service tax.
2) He/she will send the same to your e-mail.
3) Validate the same with in 24 hours.
4) Log on to www.aces.gov.in
5) Click 'REG'in the appearing window.
6) Click on 'amend registration' in the sub menu appearing.
7) Click on 'service tax registration no' appearing in the next window.
8) Your ST-1 will be displayed in next screen.
7) Make amendments as you required and proceed.

25 February 2011 sir sorry to disturb u again and agian but there is no sub menu "amend registration" under reg there is only there are three option non-assessee, st-1, change passward
can i directly go service tax office for amendment

26 February 2011 Do the 7 steps I referred above in seriatim.
When u click REG, the 3rd item in the sub menu appearing is 'amend registration'.
Visiting ST office for amending ST-1 will not serve the purpose since filing has to be done on line.
