my query is :-
I have received d serivices from security guard and amount charged in bill is as under:
Security charges : 10000
Service tax@3.09%: 309
Total Rs10309
On which amount i have to deduct service-tax and at what rate?
@12.36% on 10309 or 12.36% on 10000 or any abatement?
Please help me out??????

02 January 2014 Service Receiver shall be liable for the service tax @ 12% of 75% of gross bill i.e (75%*10000*12%)and same shall be liable to pay in cash.
