17 January 2013 hello. I have a query, plz answer me, i am totally confused,
ques: Receiving service from outside india on what head I charge tds?
service: just helping our company for getting licence . hope any can answer me!

17 January 2013 ok as your friend is helping in getting your license., it will be under professional charges and it will be required to deduct TDS at the rate of 10% U/sec 194J

ma query is about, I am receiving consultancy services from outside india, say china... what is the effect of TDS and double taxation?

18 January 2013 you have to deduct TDS and have to remit the amount., and the view of double taxation is from the point of your friend and you need not think about it.you need to intimate this to the central govt thorough respective forms., and even while remmiting banker demands a certificate of ca for remmitance
