As per circular no. 165/16/2012 dated 20.11.12 service specific accounting codes have been restored. So now payment of service tax is to be done by selecting the accounting codes in which the relevant service tax is to be paid or the one general accounting code - 00441089?

Separat Codes Are Provided for Every Service That is For 119 Services.
And For Rest There is One Separat Code Provided Other Than Specified 119 Services.
But Now 00441089 is Removed from list, Its Not Exist.
Now You have to Re Register With ACES for Providing ST Codes That Services in Which You are Dealing With.
