to get the deduction, whether the political party in which we have made donation is required to get registered with income tax department?

Not mandatory to register with the Income tax Department. But necessarily, the political party must be registered under the Representation of the People Act,1951so as to get deduction to the assessee in respect of contributions given to political party's.
