WE ARE MANUFACTURING PVT LTD CO. NOW WE ARE GOING TO SALE OUR FEW OLD MACHINES. THESE MACHINES ARE 13-14 YRS OLD, SHOULD WE CHARGE EXCISE DUTY ON THESE MACHINES AND IS THERE ANY RULE TO INTIMATE THE EXCISE DEPARTMENT BEFORER SELLING THE MACHINES

There is no need to charge excise duty on that machines, because, these machines are more than 10 years old.
