Dear sir
a proprietorship co. paid salary @ 19000/- per month to his employee. Company has no Tax Deduction account no. in this case
is any liability of tax on company or employee.

since annual income is 2.28 lakh, TDS is requied to be deducted at source or alternatively saving detail (u/s 80-C) for 48000/-(Rs 2.28lakh -1.80 Lakh) may be required from employees

If the employer ha not deducted TDS, then the employee is liable to pay tax on his income.
