Kindly let me know - can a company file a revised return of allotment under the existing system of electronic filing. If yes, Upto what time ? How ?, And is there any penalty involved

Yes. dont have idea of time but it should be the same as hard copy

Dear Narendra,
You can file a revised return of allotment under the existing system of electronic filing. No time limit specified but it should be reasonable time limit. It is a discretionary power of ROC to accept your form.
Prepare a letter of reason for revised return and attach in optional attachment in form 2.
