one of my friend filed return in july 2014 for AY 2014-2015 and claimed refund of 30000 but he got only 8000 in return he found mistake for filling return as he shown no books of accounts and filled column 51 in ITR but mistakenly he filled column for 44BB section income also now he wants to file revised return can he file so for remaining 22000 refund plz guide

Yes he can do it and if intimation has been received then he can file rectification of return as well
